Who is TribuShare for?

An independent filmmaker or very small production company with a finished film, the rights to sell it, and people they can already reach. The clearest signal is that people are already asking where they can watch. It also fits cause and faith documentaries, crowdfunding backers, reverted back-catalog titles, and films leaving Vimeo On Demand. It is not built for festivals, film schools, sales agents, or films still in production.

Is TribuShare available in my country?

A published storefront can be viewed internationally, subject to the country rules you set. Selling requires a Stripe account in a country Stripe supports. If Stripe is not available for your business, contact us before planning the release around TribuShare.

Do I need an existing audience to use TribuShare?

The filmmaker brings the audience. TribuShare does not find viewers or run the release campaign. You need a way to reach people — a list, a social following, backers, or a congregation. You can build the site first, but sales depend on people you can send there.

Is TribuShare a replacement for distributors or streaming platforms?

No. TribuShare is a storefront, not a distributor. It does not sell the film into platforms, territories, or festivals. You can use it next to those deals. It is the place you send people who ask where they can watch.

How does Tibu AI create my website?

Accepted Answer

Tibu drafts the storefront from what you already have — title, synopsis, stills, trailer. It can suggest layout, copy, colors, and pricing. You edit everything before you publish. Tibu does not run the release campaign or find viewers. Generating a draft typically takes a few minutes, depending on what you provide.

Can Tibu AI get things wrong? Can I edit its suggestions?

Tibu generates suggestions based on the information you give it, but like any AI tool it can sometimes miss nuance or propose an angle that doesn't quite match your vision. That's why everything it produces is 100% editable: copy, layout, colors, structure. Tibu is a starting point, not a final decision. You remain the director of your site.

Yes. Tibu is available to every account, with or without Premium — you get an AI-assisted starting point instead of a blank page. Premium changes the fee, the streaming ceiling and the domain, never your ability to publish.

The dashboard centralizes your release workflow: film management (upload, metadata, pricing), page editing, Stripe connection, payout setup, audience access, geo-blocking, and launch readiness. It is designed to keep the essentials in one place for a clean release process.

Each sale creates an exportable transaction record. Marketing email is separate: only people who opt in to a newsletter can be mailed as subscribers. Offers, discounts, named access grants, and country rules are included. The platform does not generate traffic.

Tibu drafts your site in a few minutes. Everything after that runs at your pace: uploading the master, connecting Stripe, and setting your prices are all done at your own pace, without hiring anyone. In practice most filmmakers take days or weeks before they publish — not because the setup is slow, but because they keep refining the page. Nothing expires while you work on it, and you only pay a fee once a ticket sells.

How do payments work? What are your fees?

Paid transactions are processed through Stripe. Without Premium, each site has a 15% + $0.50 per sale TribuShare fee. Release Pass and Premium Monthly reduce it to 10% + $0.50 per sale and enable a custom domain. Payment processing is separate. You control storefront prices in the site's currency.

Does TribuShare take a percentage of my sales?

Yes. Without Premium, TribuShare charges 15% + $0.50 per sale. Release Pass and Premium Monthly both charge 10% + $0.50 per sale. The fixed $0.50 amount is defined in USD and converted for non-USD storefront sales. Payment processing fees apply separately.

What payment methods do you support for my audience?

Your audience can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, and Google Pay via Stripe. Payments are secured and processed directly by Stripe, one of the most trusted payment processors in the world. Depending on your location and Stripe settings, additional local payment methods may also be available.

Does TribuShare support international payments?

Yes. Payments are processed through Stripe on TribuShare's account, so viewers can pay with international credit and debit cards in the currencies Stripe supports. Your monthly payouts go to your own Stripe account in a country TribuShare supports. This is separate from TribuShare's country availability controls for the storefront.

Is my film protected against piracy?

Every film is encrypted with AES-128 before it is ever served. The decryption key stays on our servers, sealed with a separate master key, and is handed to a player only after we verify the viewer holds a valid, unexpired ticket for that film — when a rental runs out, playback stops. The video is delivered in segments rather than as a file, and there is no download path in the player. No platform on earth can make a film impossible to capture, and we will not claim otherwise: what encryption and ticket-gated keys do is make casual copying and link-sharing pointless.

Can I grant private access to someone?

Yes. From the Audience section you can grant access to specific email addresses and revoke that access later if needed. Storefront-level geo-blocking is also available.

What technical skills are required to use TribuShare?

Accepted Answer

None. The process involves uploading your film, setting up Stripe from the dashboard, and configuring pricing and release rules. No coding or web development is necessary. Tibu AI handles site generation, and the infrastructure manages hosting, security, streaming, and payments.

What streaming quality should I expect?

Accepted Answer

Playback is adaptive: each viewer gets the best rendition their connection can sustain, within the limits of the file you upload. While Premium is active on the site, playback goes up to 4K. Without a subscription, it is capped at 1080p. The master you upload sets the ceiling either way, so a 1080p source stays 1080p on any plan.

Is there a limit to how many viewers can stream at once?

There is no fixed hard cap on concurrent viewers. Streaming infrastructure scales dynamically to support concentrated launch windows, high-traffic release events, and simultaneous viewers across regions. Capacity is designed to handle professional release scenarios.

Can I run limited-time or event-based releases?

Accepted Answer

Not as a built-in scheduling system yet. Today's release supports offer-based access, rental windows, geo-blocking, and manual publish control. If you need advanced premiere scheduling, please check with our team before planning around it.

Can I start without a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can publish and sell without Premium, with no monthly charge and a 15% + $0.50 per sale fee. When the lower fee and custom domain help the release, activate a 90-day Release Pass or keep Premium active month to month for that site.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

If you cancel after subscribing, your site stays live until the end of your billing period. Stripe keeps your payment records in your own account. If you need help recovering account data or media during cancellation, contact support and we will handle it with you directly.

Can I add or remove titles later?

Yes, at any time. Catalog size and runtime do not add title overage charges.

Who owns the rights to my film and my data?

Accepted Answer

You do. TribuShare claims no rights over your film, your content, or your audience data. You grant us only the technical rights necessary to host and stream your film according to your settings. Your catalog, customer data, and revenue belong to you.

How are my data and my viewers' data protected?

TribuShare is GDPR-compliant. Your viewers' data (emails, purchase history) is stored securely and is never sold to third parties. We do not store credit card data: all payment transit is handled exclusively by Stripe, certified PCI DSS Level 1. You have full access to your data and can request its deletion at any time.
