I’m on Vimeo On Demand. What do I do?
Vimeo On Demand stopped new sales on September 21 and shuts down on November 20. Paste your Vimeo link: title, poster, synopsis and prices fill in. You upload the film. Go live before November 20 to keep $14.99/month.
Can you set it up for me?
Yes. Contact us: we upload your film and set up your page with you.
I don’t have an audience yet.
Start with a Coming soon page at $4.99/month. Share your trailer, collect followers, and every one of them gets an email on launch day. Your film is also listed in Tribushare Discover, next to similar films.
Do I keep my rights?
Yes. Tribushare is a self-distribution platform, not a distributor. The license is non-exclusive: sell your film anywhere else, and unpublish it anytime.
Which countries can I sell in?
Everywhere by default. If your rights cover only some countries, choose where your film can be watched. Payouts go through Stripe to a bank in a supported country.
How much do I make per sale?
You set the price. On a $4.99 rental, you keep about $3.47 after the 10% + $0.50 Tribushare fee and card processing.
When do I get paid?
Every month, to your bank through Stripe, after a 30-day hold that covers refunds.
Do I need a card?
Not to build your page. You add one when your page goes public, as Coming soon or live.
What if I leave?
Unpublish anytime and export your followers and sales. Viewers who already paid keep access. Your film and your rights stay yours.
What if I don’t sell anything?
You pay $14.99/month while your film is live. Break-even is about 5 rentals a month at $4.99. Unpublish anytime.
Do I get my buyers’ emails?
You get the email of every viewer who follows your film, buyers included when they choose to follow.
